The Mother’s of the Crucifix Society was established in 1917 as Madre Del Crocifisso.
The purpose of the society is to create a sense of solidarity among Christian women.
New members are welcome and are installed on the first Sunday in May at the annual Feast Day gathering. Charter members are honored each year in a special way at the dinner following the society’s annual Mass.
The Mother’s of the Crucifix Society sponsors two annual events – a bake sale and a bingo/card party. The proceeds from these events are donated to the church. Meetings are held once a month except for the summer months: June, July and August.
Election of officers for President, Vice President, Recording/Corresponding Secretary, Financial Secretary, and Treasurer, is held every two years.
